Slawson Kitchen Remodel

Client: T. Slawson
Project Date: 2020

This was a kitchen we remodeled 13 years ago when my client first purchased this Penthouse, at the time they wanted to keep the existing cabinets. Now 13 years later, they had decided they wanted quality cabinets, which meant a new updated look as well. Here we mixed a shaker painted cabinet with flat front Walnut cabinets with push latches to keep them very clean and modern. This kitchen is both modern and traditional, delicately balancing and honoring both styles. There is also storage galore with several banks of large drawers with hidden drawers behind. Paneled subzero columns and pantry storage along the left wall and double ovens (microwave and steam) on the right wall. Large Wolf range with 2 ovens below. Expansive countertop of caressed Taj Majal natural stone. We designed custom lighting boxes for each portion of the island, which provide great task lighting can be dimmed for ambience and allow a clear view of guests, the tv and the view. This is a chef’s dream kitchen and we love it too.
